This single-story house is located in the Historic Old Town of Port Aransas. It is a comfortable retreat for your family, couples or  2 families to share and has a great back yard. You will be within walking distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants, Horace Caldwell Pier, and several churches. There is also parking for your boat, golf cart, or kayak trailer. So, pack up and head down to enjoy the Texas Riviera!
Living area: The cozy living room welcomes you with its beachy decor and the overstuffed couches invite you to relax and enjoy your vacation either reading, napping or catching up on your latest shows on the large wall mounted TV with local Cable. This spacious home has WIFI, central AC/heating and ceiling fans throughout.
3 Bedrooms: The unique 2 bedrooms off of the living room are Jack and Jill style. You enter into the bunk bed room with a double on the bottom and a twin on the top, then you walk through this room into the queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There is door separating the 2 rooms.  The 3rd bedroom is on the other side of the house, off of the kitchen, and is a very large family style master suite. It has a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. For the kids there is a bunk bed with double on the bottom and twin on the top. There is also a sitting area and the room is flooded with light. You have access to the back patio from this bedroom. There is a TV in both the King suite and Queen bedroom.
2.5 Bathrooms: The 1st bathroom is in the queen bedroom and has a custom stone and tile walk-in shower and a single sink. The 2nd bathroom is in the king bedroom and has a tub shower combo with a spacious separate vanity area, 2 double sinks and a large mirror. The - bath powder room is just off of the kitchen. Down the hallway from the - bath is the laundry room with full sized washer and dryer. There is also access to the backyard from the laundry room.
Kitchen: This beautifully designed kitchen is very open with abundant counter space and cabinets for extra storage. There is a gas stove, full sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and a dishwasher. This bright and open space is stocked with most basic items. The breakfast bar and the large dining table also makes for great spaces to play games or put together a puzzle during your stay. This house is located in the golf cart approved driving area.
 
Outdoors: Just outside the living room, the front porch provides ample space to unload your beach equipment or just simply hang out. The back porch is spacious and is accessible from the kitchen and master bedroom. It has a BBQ grill with some patio furniture and a table to serve up those burgers and hot dogs. After a day of fishing, shelling or beach going, rinse off your beach toys, kids and dogs with the conveniently located water hoses in the front and back yard. A family favorite is the large fenced in backyard with beautiful landscaping and lots of grass.
 
Parking: The driveway can fit 2-4 vehicles on the uncovered driveway depending on their size. Boats and trailers are OK as long as they fit in the driveway.
Directions: Once Upon a Tide is located on Palm Dr in the Old Town of Port Aransas. Nearby is the Catholic Church, The Venetian Hot Plate, LA Playa, Crazy Cajun, Lelo's and many other restaurants and shops.
 
When booking please let us know if you are bringing dogs so that we may adjust your balance.The pet fee is $100 per dog, no max.  We accept all size dogs.
 
This is a self catering property. We give you a start up supply of trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap and hand soap. This will most likely not be enough for your entire stay.
 
Even though the system may let you book this property, all reservations must and will be submitted to the owner of the property for final approval. Names and ages will be required for all reservations. Also, on the day of check in, only the named person on the reservation will be permitted to check in at our office.  ID and Credit Card will be verified upon check in. NO Exceptions.
 
We do not allow parties or large groups. We aim to remain family friendly.
